When i went by biz trip, My Japanese colleague strongly recommend. Visit on 12:00am but still people wait there. The signature is Shoyu Ramen (soy sauce base)It was very special taste. I have been Kyoto 5 times but hard to find tasty restaurants but here you can enjoy good taste of Ramen.Actually, there are one more Ramen restaurant just beside of here, but it was closed (every Wednesday is closing day)Place is a little away from downtown. Highly recommend.

Minimal wait of like 20 minutes.. There's a Q for a reason. Noodles are affordable for the size and the taste! Service is Fast & friendly :) Make sure your butt can fit though. Tight elbow space.

The taste is falling down surely. The soy sauce was too thick and the taste was gone. After eating, I didn't leave my mouth like that.

It's just a matter of having a light taste.

It changes with time and the weather. The rotation is fast. We wait for 15 people and wait 30 minutes.

It will probably line up. I think that the possibility of lining up around 7 o'clock is relatively low.

There is extremely limited space inside the restaurant, I'd recommend dropping off your luggage at your accomodation before you head there. At most there is sufficient space only for a backpack.

The noodles are bad. It is like a bamboo charcoal noodle.

For now, try eating ramen. If that suits your taste, try it... I went there several times while hanging out, but I'm eating ramen (laughs)
